THE ROLE
: Manage an investigatory caseload concerning registrants' fitness to practise.
: Handle issues involving misconduct, competence or health concerns.
: Prepare cases for hearings before relevant panels or committees.
: Work on a varied and challenging mix of matters including large:scale fraud, multi:patient clinical failings and inappropriate or sexualised conduct.
THE CANDIDATE
: Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 4 years' PQE with experience in professional discipline, regulatory law, healthcare law or criminal litigation.
: Strong analytical, organisational and case management skills.
: Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and high:volume environment.
: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
: Skilled in evidential analysis, legal drafting and procedural strategy.
: Confident in witness management and client liaison.
: Advocacy or tribunal representation experience is highly valued.
: Strong understanding of the Health and Social Care regulatory framework is an advantage.
