Solutions Architect - Farnborough 4/5 days a week in the office - £85,000-95,000 plus benefits
Our client, a leading consulting firm in the defence and national security arena have an exciting opportunity for a Solutions Architect (Cross Domain) .
An active SC clearance is highly desirable
What they look for in a Solutions Architect
They are powered by brilliant people and, as a Solution Architect on the team, you will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the following:
* Developing and deploying Cross Domain Solutions, including their design, use, testing and assurance.
* Sound understanding of the NCSC patterns and guidance for safely importing and exporting data.
* Ability to assess the product marketplace for products which meet requirements of the functional components of the solution.
* Ability to convey technical requirements for bespoke components required to software developers.
* Ability to understand user requirements and translate these into solution design.
* Ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
* Experience of working with both hardware- and software-based cross domain approaches.
* Strong knowledge of cryptography and public key infrastructure.
* Experience of MOD systems and assurance processes.
It would also be desirable for you to have demonstrable experience of:
* Working with the MOD and Defence Digital processes and services.
* Supporting development in a Secure-by-Design methodology;
* Experience of Data-Centric Security principles.
* Experience working with Hardsec Cross Domain appliances.
* Experience of cloud deployment automation.
* Strong networking skills.
