We are currently looking for a Yard Operative to join our team at our Newbury Operation Centre RG19 6HN. You'll be working from Monday to Friday, with no bank holiday working, so you'll benefit from a great work-life balance and have more time to yourself. Our yard Operatives are a dedicated team that are crucial to our operation, who love working outside in all weathers and have a passion for vehicles and working with cars. Our team consistently and promptly respond to customer requests and complete service orders to deadlines. They ensure that vehicles are stored and maintained in line with customer and company standards and operate a handheld device to take images of vehicles. What skills do you need to have? Essential: Full driving licence Proven experience in using plant, forklift loaders/shovels Excellent customer service Great communication skills, both written and verbal Strong attention to detail Confident in the use of handheld devices, with experience in the use of basic IT applications Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Happy to work outside, in all weather conditions Desired: Automotive experience would be an advantage What we offer you in return: 23 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and an extra day for a personal special occasion.
