The Role
We are excited to welcome a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our Leisure Team as a Pool Attendant. In this role, you will be based in the luxurious pool and thermal spa suite at Eden Hall, where you will play a crucial part in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable and safe experience.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
Your responsibilities
* Monitoring the pool and thermal spa areas to ensure the safety of all guests
* Providing excellent customer service by enhancing our guests' experience and assisting with any inquiries or needs
* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the pool and spa areas
* Enforcing pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment
* Providing tours of the pool and spa facilities
* Performing daily inspections which include water testing and plant pool monitoring
* Providing cover at the gym reception
Personal Specification
Essentials
* Due to health and safety aspects of the job, applicants must be over the age of 18 years old
* Have a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or Pool Responder Certificate
* Have a First Aid Certificate
* Have excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
* Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* Have the ability to swim proficiently
Desirables
* Have previous experience within the hospitality industry
* Have pool plant operation knowledge
Shift Pattern
* Part-time and Full-time opportunities available - working a minimum of 2 days per week (16hours)
* Hours of work: Between 0630-1500hrs or 1500-2215hrs and will include working evenings, weekends and bank holidays
* Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business
