We are recruiting for the position of Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester on behalf of our client, a well-established independent garage located on the outskirts of Southampton. Duties:
* Conduct servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and MOT testing on all vehicle makes and models
* Perform MOT testing in compliance with current regulations
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern tools and diagnostic equipment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of quality and safety
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and technological advancements
* Complete repairs and testing efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
Specification:
* NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent qualification
* MOT Tester qualification (essential)
* Experience with diagnostics and fault diagnosis
* Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Strong team player with a positive attitude and professional approach
* Experience within the motor trade, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction, is highly desirable
