Clinical Trustee Position at Julia’s House
We are excited to announce that we are looking to appoint a new Clinical Trustee to our well-established Board.
This vacancy has arisen as one of our existing Clinical Trustees has reached the end of their tenure, and we are seeking the ideal candidate to fill this position.
As a Clinical Trustee, you will provide expert guidance to our Board and support our Director of Care. You will act as a sounding-board for the Julia’s House Team on matters impacting our Clinical Care and Team.
You will work alongside other Clinical Trustees regarding Clinical Governance, providing input and advice on Clinical matters.
You will also build strong relationships with the Trustee Board and Senior Leadership Team at Julia’s House.
Qualifications/Experience
* Proven experience working within a palliative care environment, ideally at a senior level.
* Children’s palliative care experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Sound judgement and collaborative skills are key to success in this role.
Terms of Office
* Trustees are appointed for a three-year term, renewable for one further term up to a maximum of six years.
* This is a voluntary position; reasonable expenses are reimbursed.
Time Commitment
* Attending four Board meetings annually, usually scheduled in the evening.
* Attending four Clinical Governance meetings a year, usually scheduled in the evening.
* Participating in annual strategy and training days.
