This role strategically focuses on streamlining performance in clinical trials by improving patient numbers, timelines, data flow, and overall quality. Through applying strategic planning and frameworks, the SSO Site Partnership Manager aims to position Novartis as the preferred partner in clinical trials.
About the Role
Major accountabilities:
1. Strategically Identify Key Accounts: Recognize key trial sites with potential for substantial contribution towards portfolio execution.
2. Strategic Collaboration Enhancement: Reinforce collaborations and optimize cooperation with critically important accounts.
3. Setting Targets and Measuring Success: Establish clear goals for clinical trials and partnerships, and measure success metrics.
4. Trial Performance Improvement: Execute initiatives to streamline patient recruitment, data flow, quality, and timelines.
5. Establishing Strategic Partnerships: Position Novartis as the go-to partner by shaping and reinforcing strategic collaborations.
6. Portfolio Execution Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to leverage trial site potential for portfolio contribution.
7. Foster Innovation: Encourage innovative approaches to improve clinical trial processes and outcomes.
Qualifications include:
* Strong experience in clinical research within the UK
* Ability to lead in a matrix environment without direct reports
* Strategic thinking and assessment skills in complex healthcare situations
* Understanding of all aspects of clinical drug development, especially study execution
* Excellent influencing, presentation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
