Here you’ll take the lead of the shift, working with your team of baristas to create our Starbucks Experience for our customers with high quality service, beverages and products, whilst creating our third place environment.
Responsibilities
* Lead the shift, work with your team of baristas to create the Starbucks Experience for customers with high quality service, beverages and products, whilst creating our third place environment.
* Collaborate with the Store Manager to lead shifts, support partners and inspire best moments for customers and partners.
* Set priorities using existing tools and resources, delegate tasks, and drive the profitability of the store.
* Inspire and motivate the store team, anticipate and adapt to potential issues, and resolve any that arise to optimise the customer experience.
* Identify teachable moments to share best practices with the team.
* View challenges as opportunities for continuous improvement to drive operational excellence.
* Execute store operations during scheduled shifts, including opening and closing duties.
* Ensure all partners follow operational policies and procedures, including cash handling, safety and security.
* Provide quality beverages and food products by adhering to recipe and presentation standards; follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
* Support working hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
Qualifications
* Previous coaching or supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
* Experience leading operational activities in a retail or hospitality environment is beneficial.
* Ambassador for our partner networks, ensuring partners feel they belong.
Training and Opportunities

Training programmes are delivered in our stores and provide partners with on-the-job learning supported by their manager.
