The Devon OOH service provides advice, information, and treatment for NHS patients who become unwell during the out-of-hours period when their own GP surgery is closed.
Please note, this role is to work in a permanent capacity and to work a minimum of 25 hours per week on a 3-week rolling rota, which includes a mixture of weekday evenings and weekends. The salary ranges from £13.25 per hour to £18.83 per hour depending on the shift.
Main duties of the job
As a Coordinator for our OOH service, you'll be a single point of contact and liaison for all members of this multidisciplinary team, as well as other internal and external services. You'll provide coordination and support to ensure the smooth running of shifts and respond swiftly and efficiently if there's any breakdown in the service. This could include making comfort/safety calls to patients as and when required. Your role may also involve supporting other areas within the service to ensure our patients are receiving the best care that Practice Plus Group can provide.
