The Role
As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for people, property, and assets. You will be expected to uphold high professional standards at all times while supporting the smooth running of security operations on site.
Your responsibilities will include:
13. Protecting people, property, and assets at the site
14. Following Assignment Instructions (AIs) and company procedures
15. Identifying hazards, risks, or suspicious activity and taking appropriate action
16. Maintaining accurate incident records and providing clear communication to colleagues and management
17. Working collaboratively as part of a professional security team
18. Supporting colleagues and adapting to operational changes when required
19. Ensuring your SIA licence remains valid and up to date
20. Contributing ideas and improvements to support effective site security
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Essential:
21. Valid SIA Licence
22. Minimum 5 years' continuous UK residency for security vetting
23. Strong observation skills and sound judgement
24. Good communication and interpersonal skills
25. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
26. SC Clearance
27. Previous security experience
