We are looking for someone to join our night team to provide support to our residents when traditional services are closed. This team works in the crucial out of hours period where residents can often feel at their lowest and need support, empathy and to feel safe. We are looking for individuals who are friendly, caring, and empathetic and can use these skills to effectively manage challenging behaviours and residents who are facing crisis both physically and mentally.
You will have experience of working with vulnerable adults or young people, ideally within a supported housing / homelessness environment or related field. You will be an excellent communicator with good planning and organisational skills along with an ability to motivate young people within a challenging environment. You will most importantly have customer service skills and empathy.
This role is 37.5 hours per week doing 3 night time shifts of 12 hours from 8pm-8am (plus 1.5 hours per week for meetings/training) on a rota pattern and could be during the week, weekends or bank holidays.
