Ward 1 is a 24 bedded trauma and orthopaedic ward in Withybush General Hospital, Haverfordwest. Ward one specialises in the management of spinal fractures and hip fractures and will provide you with the opportunity to care for patients with complex needs. We are a warm, friendly multidisciplinary team of professionals who work closely together to provide high quality, holistic driven, evidence-based care to all our patients.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and forward-thinking. Motivated with excellent communication and leadership skills and will be able to support the Senior Sister and Multidisciplinary team in providing patient centred, high standards of care, and efficient safe management of patients. The applicant should be able to demonstrate the use of evidence-based practice, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, together with a readiness to innovate and develop nursing within a team approach. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. Interviews to be held on 14/11/2025.
