We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology and Blood Transfusion to join our esteemed client in Scarborough. Your advanced expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the precision and reliability of blood sciences services, which are critical for accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will conduct a broad spectrum of haematology and blood transfusion tasks, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, and ensure strict adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations. You will analyse and interpret complex haematology data with a high degree of accuracy, maintain meticulous records and documentation, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver superior patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Relevant qualifications in Biomedical Science.
* HCPC registration.
* Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science or a related field.
* Extensive experience in haematology and blood transfusion services.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
