The primary objective of this role is to assist in completing comprehensive management accounts on a monthly basis for a portfolio of companies.Responsibilities:Produce balance sheet schedules each month which agree to the trialbalanceAssistin production ofrevenue reconciliationson a monthlybasisPrepare commentary onmanagement accountsAnalyse profit and loss movement and trendson a monthly basisInvestigate unusual balances ordiscrepanciesPrepare cost recharges for other groupcompaniesDay to day processing of invoices, bank reconciliations and VAT returnsWork with business units to provide meaningful managementaccountsMonitor cashflows for specified entities to ensure key expenditure requirements can bemetEnsure all returns, payments and statutory requirements are completed ontimeWork with external auditors, tax advisors andaccountantstoprovide required information ina timelyfashionfor annual complianceAssisting Financial Controllersin ad-hoc project workSkills Required:Starting out onjourney to be qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)(Educated to AAT level 4 or Degree Level)Positive can-do attitudeStrong communicationskillsGreat attention to detailAbility to work to tightdeadlinesGood levelof Excel knowledgeIT LiterateProven problemsolvingattitudeAbility to work autonomouslybut also as part of ateamAdaptableand open to changeUK Driving Licencedesirable due to office locationBenefits:21 days holiday
