Our client, an automotive fleet maintenance business that has been operating nationwide since 2008, is currently looking to recruit a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their mobile team, to help cover the Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Berkshire region.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will involve carrying out roadside assistance to customer vehicles, fleet maintenance, specialist DPF work and Jaguar/Land Rover-focused tasks, whilst also conducting routine inspections, repairs and servicing.
Responsibilities Of The Mobile Vehicle Technician:
8. Perform roadside assistance, fleet maintenance, and specialist DPF work.
9. Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance of vehicles.
10. Diagnose and efficiently repair mechanical issues.
11. Use hand and power tools for various repairs and installations.
12. Maintain clear and accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities.
13. Collaborate with team members to optimize operational efficiency.
14. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
15. Provide training and mentorship to junior Technicians as necessary.
Whilst no formal automotive qualifications are required for our client, given you will be working independently daily you will need to have extensive "time served" experience as a Vehicle Technician. Any experience working in a similar mobile/roadside repair role or any experience working on diesel particulate filters or with Jaguar/Land Rovers would be highly advantageous.
You will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, have your tools, and be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced and demanding workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.
