The Role Objective
The Front of House department is typically the first point of contact for our guests, making it crucial that the reception desk operates smoothly and efficiently. As a front of house night porter, your responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service to guests and ensuring high safety standards are maintained.
Responsibilities include:
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations within your area of work.
* Provide exceptional service to guests during nighttime hours.
* Conduct regular walk rounds within the property to ensure safety and sign off required areas.
* Review the booking system to be aware of in-house guest numbers and locations.
* Maintain positive and effective communication with other departments, especially reception and housekeeping.
* Communicate confidently with guests, check satisfaction, resolve conflicts, and escalate issues when necessary.
