The Opportunity We are seeking 2 commercially minded solicitors: One with 1-2 years PQE One with 3-5 years PQE to join this thriving Commercial team in Leeds. For the more senior role, this is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who is ready to take on greater responsibility, build their own client relationships, and develop across a broad and varied commercial practice. The role is full time and Leeds based, with hybrid working available following a probationary period. The Role You will advise clients across a wide spectrum of commercial matters, with the firm's Commercial practice spanning general commercial contracts, IT and intellectual property, and privacy and data protection. Day-to-day responsibilities will include: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply, purchase and distribution contracts, outsourcing arrangements, media and marketing contracts, and technology agreements Providing pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice on both day-to-day business issues and strategic projects Leading client matters with increasing autonomy as you develop within the role Building and managing your own client relationships Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team The Candidate Our client is looking for a candidates who can demonstrate: 1–5 years' PQE in commercial law Solid experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts The ability to deliver clear, solution-oriented advice Experience with IT-related matters — SaaS agreements, software licensing, and systems integration — is highly desirable A proactive, can-do attitude with a genuine appetite for business development Why Apply?
