Are you someone with Manual Machinery experience looking for a local, days-based role within an iconic British industry offering great hours to uphold your work-life balance?
For over 10 years, this close-knit, reputable company has manufactured miniature steam trains into various industries. This once-dying trade has seen a strong revival in recent years. As a result, they're looking for someone to join their friendly workshop.
Using Manual and CNC lathes, you will use milling and turning to create components for the miniature steam train engines using the technical drawings and later assemble locomotives. You will work 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and enjoy an early finish at 2pm on a Friday.
This would suit someone with Manual Machinery experience looking to continue their career within one of Britain's most historical, core industries, in a supportive, tight-knit environment that offers great hours to uphold a work-life balance.
