Overview
Medivet Ashford is seeking a passionate Lead Vet, confident in Ultrasonography, to join our team. You will work alongside a Certificate Holder and experienced RVNs in well-equipped practices featuring digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, echocardiography, ECG, and a full lab including microscope, haematology, biochemistry, and iSTAT analysers. All out-of-hours care is managed by our Richmond 24-hour Medivet hospital, where you will also have access to CT.
Working Hours
40 hours per week over 4 days, plus 1:6 full weekends at our flagship hospital in Richmond.

Role Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures
* Provide clear updates to clients
* Maintain high standards of regulatory and operational compliance
* Prepare tailored treatment plans with cost estimates
* Mentor and develop team members
* Ensure smooth clinical handovers and out-of-hours transfers
* Support clinical best practices within the practice and community
Skills & Experience
* RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
* Experience in delivering exceptional patient and client care
* Effective team player with clinical leadership skills
* Supportive of a progressive clinical culture
* Experience with nurse consults & schedule 3 procedures
* Coaching and influencing skills to motivate colleagues
