Embers Camping is a thriving camping business committed to providing unforgettable outdoor experiences for our customers. With eight beautiful sites located throughout the South East of England, our campsites offer premium accommodation in Safari Tents with campfires, modern amenities with safe open spaces for children to run free – camping as it should be!
We are seeking a dynamic and organised Bookings Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless booking process and stay for our guests.
Position Summary
As the Bookings Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of customer bookings, from their initial enquiry to their stay on site, and then post stay feedback. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating positive customer experiences. The role will be a very engaging and varied as well as challenging when we reach the high season, so flexibility is a must.
Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, assisting with booking related issues, and offering helpful information about the campsite and its amenities.
* Maintain an accurate and up-to-date booking system, ensuring all booking details are recorded correctly.
* Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Coordinate with other team members, such as operations and on-site staff, to ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process for guests.
* Work closely with the schools & events team to book in stays & invoice customers.
* Assist the Operational & Regional Managers with the set up and maintenance of Embers systems – Google Drive, 3CX, Campsite Managers PC’s
* Help set up Staff E-learning and maintain training manuals and ensure they are up to date
Skills:
* Previous experience in a reservations or bookings management role in the hospitality or camping industry.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.
* A keen ‘can-do’ attitude with the passion to muck in and help out where needed.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with a positive attitude.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
