Cutting-Edge Facilities to Match Your Ambitions
Our purpose-built RCVS-accredited hospital is equipped with five consultation rooms, two theatres, and a state-of-the-art diagnostic suite featuring CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray. From advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery to neurology, oncology, and emergency care, you'll have the tools and caseload to truly excel. An interest in referrals, particularly orthopaedics or neurosurgery would be a real advantage as we continue to grow this side of the practice.
A Collaborative Team That Values Your Expertise
You'll join a dynamic team of nine Veterinary Surgeons, supported by 14 RVNs and 12 dedicated support staff. With certificate holders already on the team, others pursuing advanced qualifications, and a visiting cardiology specialist, we pride ourselves on a culture of collaboration and shared learning. As a senior vet, your input will be highly valued, and you'll play a key role in case discussions, mentoring colleagues, and shaping clinical standards.
Space to Develop Your Own Interests
We believe in supporting every clinician's individual aspirations. Whether you're looking to advance your skills in surgery, grow a referral interest, or complete a certificate, you'll find the backing you need. At Cedar Grove, your professional journey is just as important as the care you deliver.
Balance That Works for You
We know that great medicine can only happen when our people are at their best. That's why we offer genuine flexibility around rotas and working hours, designed to fit around your lifestyle. Our standard full-time pattern is four days per week, variable hours, with 1:6 weekends, while out-of-hours is handled by Vets Now. Whether full or part-time, we'll work with you to make it fit.
