Milk Education is recruiting a committed and enthusiastic 1:1 Learning Support Assistant for a vibrant secondary school in Liverpool. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and making a real difference in a student’s educational experience.
The Role: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant
As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will:
1. Work directly with a student who requires tailored support throughout the school day.
2. Help the pupil engage with the curriculum, reinforcing learning set by the class teacher.
3. Adapt activities to ensure the student can access lessons effectively.
4. Support emotional regulation and help the young person develop confidence and independence.
5. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the SENDCo to ensure the student’s needs are consistently met.
This 1:1 Learning Support Assistant position offers a rewarding opportunity to build a strong, supportive relationship with the student you work with, becoming a key part of their progress and success.
About You
To be successful as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you should:
