Specialist Mortgage Advisor – Second Charge Lending
Location- Hybrid role based in Bristol
Salary- £35,000 – £50,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
Uncapped commission structure with realistic OTE of £60,000+
About the Role
An established and growing specialist finance brokerage is seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor with a background in second charge lending. Leads and enquiries are provided through a combination of company-generated business, introducers, and professional partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide professional, proactive and client-focused mortgage advice
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the lending journey
* Deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
* Communicate effectively with lenders, clients and third parties involved in the process
* Develop and maintain relationships with banks and lending partners
* Maintain accurate and compliant client records using the company CRM system
* Follow internal compliance procedures and maintain detailed case records
* Liaise with clients before and after application submission
* Support review and referral strategies
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to team development

Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years’ experience advising on secured or second charge loans
* Experience managing cases from enquiry through to completion
* CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
* Proven track record in second charge mortgage sales
* Comfortable working to targets in a fast-paced environment
* Good understanding of property finance solutions and exit strategies
* Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
