Nursery Manager 

Salary: Competitive -up to £40,000Hours: 37.5 – 40 hours per week 

Are you an experienced Nursery Manager, with a passion for delivering outstanding early years education and childcare?

We are looking for a dynamic Nursery Manager to lead a thriving setting, drive high-quality EYFS provision, and inspire a dedicated team of childcare professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a nurturing, stimulating environment for children aged birth to 5 years while playing a key role in the strategic growth of the nursery.

The Role

As Nursery Manager, you will:

• Lead, motivate and manage a team of Early Years Practitioners to deliver exceptional childcare
• Ensure full compliance with EYFS framework and Ofsted standards
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality day care, play and early education
• Drive curriculum planning, observation, assessment and children’s development
• Build strong partnerships with parents, carers and external professionals
• Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and child protection procedures are always upheld
• Manage staff recruitment, training, performance and retention
• Take ownership of operational management, including budgets, occupancy and business performance
• Lead staff meetings and contribute to the nursery’s strategic direction and business plan

About You

We’re looking for a confident leader who:

• Has proven experience as a Nursery Manager
• Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above)
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted requirements
• Has a track record of delivering high-quality childcare and improving outcomes
• Is passionate about creating safe, inclusive and stimulating environments
• Excels in team leadership, staff development and people management
• Has strong organisational and operational management skills
