An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance professional to join our Adult Social Care Finance team as a Senior Accountant.
This role will play a pivotal part in the financial management of Adult Social Care. A major focus will be leading the design, development, and delivery of the reporting and analytical framework that underpins a significant savings programme. Working alongside our improvement partner and workstream leads, the postholder will shape how savings are tracked, analysed, and presented, ensuring clear insight into progress and risks.
The successful candidate will provide high‑quality strategic financial management and drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and reporting. The role involves substantial data analysis and manipulation, requiring advanced analytical capability, strong financial modelling skills, and the ability to translate complex information into meaningful insight for decision‑makers.
We are seeking a self‑motivated finance professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage and prioritise competing demands while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
