About this Role Are you a Van Driver, Vehicle Valeter, Fleet Driver or Delivery Driver looking for a hands on role in the vans and asset rental industry? This Van Driver / Valet position is a key role supporting the movement, presentation, and readiness of vehicles across Dawsongroup sites and customer locations. You will help ensure our fleet is always ready for hire by delivering vehicles, preparing them to our standards, and maintaining a safe and organised yard environment. Delivering and collecting vehicles from customer sites and other Dawsongroup locations. Cleaning and preparing vehicles inside and out to company standards. Inspecting vehicles on return and reporting damage or maintenance needs. Carrying out minor repairs and adjustments such as mirror glass replacement. Supporting yard organisation, documentation, and general operational duties. About You You enjoy practical work, take pride in presentation, and understand the importance of representing a business professionally when interacting with customers. This role would suit someone reliable, organised, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving licence and confidence driving vans. Comfortable working outdoors and across a variety of tasks. A professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers. Good attention to detail when inspecting or preparing vehicles. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. You do not need to match every point perfectly.
