At its site in Middlewich, Cheshire, UK (with immediate central links to the M6), Indaver operates a solvent recycling facility; accepting hazardous and non-hazardous (waste) solvents, providing bespoke recovery solutions, Indaver can support the customers with lab analysis, pilot scale trials, and recycling at commercial scale.
A highly skilled and experienced workforce, including chemical engineers, engineers, chemists, and senior plant operators, are at your service. With continuous investment and innovation to enhance existing facilities and new equipment to meet the needs of the customer base.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Ensure document version control and compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO, ISO, ISO ).
2. Track and ensure compliance with SHEQ legislation and industry standards.
3. Monitor and report on non-conformance and corrective actions.
4. Support and prepare for internal and external SHEQ audits.
5. Use SHEQ management software (e.g. Safety Culture, Sypol, TenForce) to enter data and track progress.
6. Maintaining and updating ISO environmental and health & safety registers annually
7. Assisting Contract Managers with project paperwork (e.g., waste carrier licences, planning documentation)
8. Keeping project documentation updated and compliant with business needs and regulations
9. Ensuring all project files are properly maintained and ISO compliant
10. Liaising with site staff regarding ISO requirements
11. Supporting general communication and documentation across the site
12. Provide general administrative support to the SHEQ Team
Experience and qualifications required
13. Previous experience managing ISO systems (,, )
14. Strong understanding of business management and certification systems
15. Experience within the chemical industry preferred
16. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
17. Ability to conduct audits and produce reports
18. Confident liaising with internal staff and external auditors
19. Proficient in Microsoft Office and documentation control systems
20. Familiarity with legislation registers and compliance procedures
21. Good communication and interpersonal skills
22. MUST be eligible to work full-time in the UK. This position will not provide visa sponsorship.
