What will you be doing?
We are seeking a skilled Structural Analysis Software Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team supporting the design and assessment of complex mechanical components. You will develop, maintain, and enhance software tools that enable rapid structural analysis, design optimisation, and component substantiation, working closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Your main responsibilities will be:
* Develop and maintain software applications to perform structural assessments and component evaluations.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure tools meet design and analysis requirements.
* Support design optimisation processes through efficient and accurate analysis software.
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of calculation templates, scripts, and subroutines to automate structural assessments.
* Assist in integrating software tools into the broader engineering workflow to improve productivity and consistency.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
* Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
* Demonstrable experience in software development or scripting applied to engineering problems.
* Proven experience in developing software for engineering or scientific applications.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Fortran, or similar.
* Experience working with numerical analysis, modelling, or simulation tools.
* Strong understanding of mechanical or structural engineering principles.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
* Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to workflow improvements.
