Job Description

Duties and tasks of the Payroll and Pensions Officer:

3. Experience of working in a Payroll & Pensions position with a high level of customer interaction
4. Experience processing and administering pension schemes
5. Input and process HR and payroll data in a timely and accurate manner to ensure continual SLA adherence and resolve and provide advice and guidance on payroll queries from employees, HMRC, and other 3rd parties
6. Track record in delivering an efficient and timely payroll service within a Group structure organisation with multiple payrolls
7. Process multi frequency payrolls including part time, full time, enhanced hours, overtime, weekend rates etc
8. Process end to end payroll including adding all stater/ leaver contract using the HR and Payroll integrated software
9. Process company maternity, sick pay, occupational sick, parental and statutory requirements
10. Process AOE, student loans, court orders
11. RTI submissions and calculations to HMRC/ FPS and EPS submissions
12. Process pay slips, P60s, P45s and submit monthly reports

The Successful Applicant

Experience required for the Payroll and Pensions Officer:

13. Immediately available or available within a short notice
14. Looking for a permanent / long term opportunity
15. End to end payroll processing for monthly paid employees with complex changes to payroll calculations
16. Ability to process pensions and calculations to HMRC
17. At least 3 years experience in processing end to end payroll
18. Payroll and HR integrated systems experience is desirable
