The project: Providing crucial engineering and design review services to a new generation nuclear reactor build with a combined value in excess of 3 billion Euros. To deliver this key scope of work side by side with the contract project managers and, together, manage closely the interfaces with engineering as well as other areas of the project ensuring that governance and stakeholder management is diligently always complied with.
You will be responsible for contract management of a large section of the scope covered by two high value contracts. Both contracts are administered under NEC3 PSC terms and in accordance with regulatory and governance requirements.
Our team is based across offices in Bristol and Bridgwater but with a continued embracing of hybrid working principles.

You’ll need to have:
 13. Degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent). 
 14. Professional membership i.e. MRICS/RICS (or equivalent) and moving towards fellowship, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
 15. Strong commercial and financial acumen.
 16. Sound knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, contract law and contractual frameworks relating to construction. 
 17. Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
 18. Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
 19. Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on
