Lift Repair Engineer

Responsibilities
* Carry out regular planned preventative maintenance and service visits.
* Attend lift breakdown call-outs to carry out minor lift repairs.
* Meet agreed customer response times and build strong relationships with clients.
* Provide regular updates to the Service Manager and participate in the regional 24/7 standby/call‑out rota.
* Diagnose and solve issues across a portfolio of Orona and competitor lifting equipment and perform basic LG1 examinations.
* Work independently to solve problems and make decisions on the fly.
Qualifications
* NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering.
* Experience working with lifts.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Valid UK driving licence.

Further Training (Optional)
* Senior Repairs Engineer (NVQ 3, LEIA Units 1, 15, 9, 12, 17, 16).
* Repairs Engineer (NVQ 3, LEIA Units 1, 15).
* Certification in Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) or ability to achieve it.
