Job Title: Technical Support Specialist (TSS) Team Lead
Location: Office based/travel in the field when required. This is a Hybrid role: 3 days office, 2 days working from home.
Reports to: Service Support Manager
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
Salary & Benefits: Competitive Salary, Car Allowance, 26 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing with service.

About the Company
Reports hierarchically to the Service Support Manager. Reports operationally to Business Team Manager Proposition regarding the execution and opportunities/challenges of TSS. Leads a team of TSS Specialists working in a business team. Responsible for execution of TSS projects and activities by the TSS Specialists. Implements and gives feedback on the ways of working. Works closely with Lely Centers in the Cluster and with departments at Cluster and Lely International levels.
About the Role
Management and Organisation: Manages a team of service support engineers. Sets team goals aligned with company and Business Team objectives. Guides, motivates, and coaches the team. Conducts monthly 1:1s and performance reviews. Ensures professional communication within Cluster and with Lely Centers. Supports critical customer situations and health & safety compliance.
Responsibilities
* Operational Support: Ensures execution and optimisation of second-line technical service.
* Offers 24/7 second-line support, conducts technical audits and site visits.
* Manages incident handling and product update rollouts.
* Projects: Organises TSS resources for projects.
* Ensures validation and implementation of Lely solutions.
* Acts as SPOC for TSS Competence Way of Working.
* Training: Oversees team training and certification processes.
* Ensures knowledge levels are maintained.
* Lely Center Development: Ensures Lely standards at Lely Centers.
* Supports development and monitors service quality using management tools.
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level
Required Skills
* Experience of dairy robots
* Strong technical/mechanical skills
* Analytical problem-solving skills
* Able to deal with difficult situations
* Willingness to travel
* Good planning and coaching skills
* Knowledge of agriculture/machinery
* Strong management and relationship-building skills
Preferred Skills
* Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills
* Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills
* Organised, proactive, high integrity, self-motivated, technically strong
Pay range and compensation package
Must hold a clean, valid driving licence. Must be flexible to travel nationally/internationally. Must hold a valid passport.
