Who You Are You are a well-qualified Senior Estates Surveyor with a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject, ideally RICS qualified, and evidence of continued professional development. You possess a full, current UK driving license and the ability to access sites for inspection. You have a robust experience of working within teams, with substantial knowledge of landlord and tenant law and practice. You have the ability to convey complex information effectively and demonstrate strong customer service values. What the Job Involves You will coordinate and deliver a comprehensive estates management service, managing a portfolio of assets to optimize the Council’s financial returns and safeguard long-term interests. You will negotiate leases, manage properties, support tenant and landlord matters, and conduct valuations and inspections. You will represent the Estates Team at meetings, provide professional advice to Members, and produce detailed reports. Additionally, you will contribute to strategic planning, financial management, and service improvement while acting as a positive ambassador for the Council.
