About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Hire Desk Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers with their equipment hire requirements, respond to enquiries, process orders, and prepare quotations with technical specifications. Youll play a key part in ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with customers on all hire, sales, and service enquiries.
* Source equipment from third-party suppliers to fulfil orders.
* Confirm delivery arrangements with suppliers prior to dispatch.
* Order sale items and raise sundry purchase orders.
* Ensure supplier terms are accurately reflected in customer contracts.
* Update CRM with actions and information.
* Handle enquiries for M&E Equipment, Powered Access, Forklifts, Telehandlers & Plant and Tools.
* Process orders accurately and coordinate transport with operations.
* Update hire management system, create picking lists & hire contracts.
* Promote company products and services proactively.
* Negotiate hire rates and prepare quotations with spec sheets.
* Resolve queries and process payments.
* Maintain health & safety standards at all times.
