Current Opportunity: Plant Administrator
Location: Based in Birmingham - the Central Region runs from the east of Birmingham into the city centre, comprising Sublot Delta, 1B, 4 and 5S. More than 50% of the structures within IPT Area North are located in the Central Region. This region, which covers a complex urban environment, also includes the 3.5 mile twin bore Bromford Tunnel. It also includes Interchange Station, as well as crossing three major highways (A45, M6 and M42).
Role Responsibilities:
• Provide high-level administrative support to senior management and project teams.
• Manage and coordinate business processes, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Oversee financial administration, including budget tracking, invoicing, and cost management.
• Utilise IT systems to enhance workflow, maintain databases, and generate reports.
• Develop and implement organisational strategies to improve efficiency.
Essential Experience:
• Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and financial records.
• Knowledge of LIP (project CMMS) required for this role
• TIPS (project timesheet software) knowledge required for this role
• Advanced IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and accounting tools.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work proactively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of UK construction industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
