An Office 365 Consultant is required for a services-driven tech business that is growing at an exponential rate. If you want to work with an organization on some of the largest IT Services contracts in the market and have the genuine ability to cross-train on new technologies while gaining vendor direct training and certification, then please read the below role. The Office 365 Consultant is a crucial part of the delivery to a number of public sector accounts and as such needs someone who is used to working in a demanding, service-oriented environment. The role is to act as a Technical Specialist in Cloud Productivity (O365) technologies, providing advice, design, delivery, and support to a broad client base.
The successful applicant will carry out a varied selection of duties including:
1. Technical consultancy on Microsoft O365 customer projects
2. Providing technical pre-sales support by attending meetings, conference calls, providing technical web demonstrations, and in any other way required.
3. Technical scoping of customer requirements.
4. Creating high and low level technical documentation for customer consultancy engagements.
5. 3rd line technical support for relevant services.
6. As an SME, provide in-house product training to staff.
7. Maintain qualifications in vendor accreditations.
Skills/Experience Required:
1. Expert knowledge in O365
2. Experience of scoping and delivering cloud productivity deployments and migrations
3. Ideally some relevant experience in a 2nd/3rd line/consultancy role
4. Ability to understand customer requirements and challenges
5. Strong customer-facing skills
6. Able to create high-quality technical documentation
Desirable Knowledge/Qualifications:
1. MCSE
2. Microsoft Exchange
3. IT Security products
4. Any vendor qualifications would be advantageous
