Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Year 2 Teacher to join a primary school in the Penarth area from September 2026 on an ongoing basis.

The Role
* Full teaching responsibility for a Year 2 class
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales
* Monitoring pupil progress and adapting learning where required
* Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and the ALNCo
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Early Career Teacher (ECT/NQT)
* Strong classroom management skills
* A teacher who can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
* Confidence in differentiating learning to support all abilities
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

Requirements
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) in Wales
