* Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
* Lead and develop junior chefs within the brigade
* Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation standards
* Assist with menu planning and development
* Support hospitality, conference and event catering
* Manage stock, ordering and food cost controls
* Ensure full compliance with food safety and health and safety procedures
* Help drive a positive and professional kitchen culture
About You
* Previous Sous Chef experience within education or contract catering
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Reliable, consistent and committed to long‑term roles
