Set in the heart of Newmarket, a beautiful and historic
horseracing town, Wildwood is a grand, two-floor restaurant with 120 covers and
a striking open kitchen. We’re a busy, food-led destination serving lunch and
dinner, with a strong local following and a great atmosphere.
We’re now looking for a Team Manager (Restaurant Supervisor)
to join us on a part-time basis, supporting the management team and playing a
key role on the floor during service.
The package
Hourly contract (20 hrs pw) with the option for more in peak times, holiday cover etc. The stated hourly rate includes predicted service charge. The shifts will be a combination of days, evenings and weekends but we will always do our best to accomodate.
The vibe
This is a hands-on, guest-facing role. You’ll be welcoming
guests, running sections, supporting the team, and helping make sure every
service feels smooth, friendly, and well-paced.

What you’ll be doing
• Being a visible presence on the restaurant floor during
service
• Welcoming guests and making sure they feel looked after from start to finish
• Supporting and motivating the team during busy shifts
• Leading sections and helping keep service flowing smoothly
• Stepping in to solve guest issues confidently and calmly
• Maintaining service standards and attention to detail
• Working closely with the kitchen and management team during service
