Supply Planner - Luxury Division
At L'Oréal, a Supply Planner is central to ensuring accurate and timely information flow regarding stock levels and optimizing availability, enabling the business to make well-informed decisions.
A Day in the Life
Joining the strong L'Oréal UKI Product Planning team, the Supply Planner plays a key role. The daily activities are varied, involving multiple functions across the company. Responsibilities include supply and launch planning for iconic brands.
Your day might start with identifying an upcoming stockout of a key product, collaborating with Demand Planners and customer teams to understand the cause. After analyzing the potential impact, you'll coordinate with the S&OP team to determine how soon stock can be replenished, developing action plans to expedite delivery to the UK and aligning stakeholders accordingly. You'll then inform brand and commercial teams to implement mitigation strategies for upcoming activations.
In the afternoon, you might work on stock reporting, identifying risks of excess stock and planning reuse strategies aligned with L'Oréal for the Future commitments. You could also address persistent issues affecting customer service levels, update stock parameters for risk mitigation, or collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives with the DC or order-to-cash teams. Mastering these core activities offers opportunities to leave a lasting impact on the role.
