Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mortgage Underwriter to join our dynamic team. Duties
* Review and analyse mortgage applications and supporting documentation to determine eligibility for loan approval.
* Conduct quantitative analysis to assess applicants' creditworthiness and financial stability.
* Perform risk analysis to identify potential issues that may affect loan repayment.
* Collaborate with banks and other financial institutions to negotiate terms and conditions of loans.
* Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions and communicate findings clearly to relevant parties.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the underwriting process.
* Provide guidance and support to loan officers regarding underwriting policies and procedures.
