What will I be doing?
1. Reporting to the Senior Site Manager, you will join our processing teams in the Surrey looking after HWRC sites.
2. Ensuring the sites are manned efficiently and correctly and ensuring the working hours are managed, ensuring information is provided to payroll to ensure that staff are paid correctly.
3. Further responsibility involves maintaining budgetary control over operations and ordering equipment and resources as necessary for sites.
4. You will be the main COTC holder to the sites in your area and as such you have responsibility to ensure that the site is operated in accordance with the permit or licence.
5. This role is also expected to ensure that all records on sites are up to date and kept in accordance with policies, procedures and legislation, including training records, safe working procedures & risk assessments.
The working hours are 08:00am - 16:00pm, and we can be flexible on the starts and finishes.
What are the requirements?
6. Experience of working in a supervisory position is essential for this role.
7. A good understanding of H&S and Environmental requirements in the workplace along with the ability to produce risk assessments and standard working procedures.
8. You must be able to work to deadlines and be proactive in their approach to the day to day requirements of the role.
9. Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable, but not essential.
This role will be required to travel across multiple sites in Surrey region.
This role will be required to work roughly 1 in 2 weekends on Customer facing sites.
