Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Skilled Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks that support construction and maintenance projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Duties
* Assist in the preparation and clean-up of job sites to promote safety and efficiency.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving materials
* Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete projects
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
* Perform other related duties as assigned by management
* Perform general labour tasks such as loading and unloading materials.
* Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties, providing necessary support as required.
* Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a labouring role or similar position is preferred but not essential
* Ability to read and interpret plans or drawings is advantageous
* Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
* A valid driving licence is beneficial but not mandatory
* Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required.
Working Hours:
* Monday – Thursday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
* Friday: 8:00 am – 3:30 pm
* 39 hours per week (Full-Time)
