Overview
Warehouse Assistant role focused on ensuring products are available to customers by completing tasks accurately and in a timely manner. You will operate machinery, follow safety protocols, and support replenishment and loading/unloading of deliveries.
Responsibilities
* Ensure products are available to customers by completing area tasks accurately and on time.
* Operate and work around heavy machinery, such as forklift trucks, counterbalance, and pump trucks, to transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure environment for customers and co-workers.
* Replenish store shelves to ensure they are full and ready for customers.
* Load and unload deliveries as required.
* Use pump truck and manual handling as part of daily duties.

What You Need to Have
* While previous warehouse experience is preferred, it is not essential. The key requirement is a strong motivation to excel in a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize workload with keen attention to detail.
* Proven experience in using technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
* Self-reliant and motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
* Previous forklift experience is preferred; full training will be provided. Commitment to developing your skill set.
Role Specifics
* Night shift role with training provided for forklift operation.
* Location: Exeter
* Employment type: Part Time Permanent
* Department: Logistics & Supply Chain
* Start date: 1st November 2025
* Shifts: 30 hours per week, 5 days per week and 3 out of 4 weekends, 10:00pm to 10:00am
Compensation & Benefits
* Hourly rate: £12.60, with forklift training allowance of £1.50 per hour once trained.
* Nightshift allowance of £2.25 between 10:00pm and 06:00am.
