Are you organised, proactive, and passionate aboutsupporting learning experiences that help people grow?

As a Learning & Development (L&D) Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting and delivering learning activities across the organisation. Based in our HR Shared Service Centre, you’ll support external training bookings, respond to learner queries, maintain documentation, and help promote learning initiatives that support development and engagement across the business.

Our HR operations function will be moving into our Newcastle office in the coming months. That means you’ll be based onsite at our Newcastle office three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday), with the flexibility to work from home on the remaining days. During the initial training period, occasional travel to our Stockton office may be required.

What you'll be doing:

1. Respond to L&D queries, maintaining accurate records and ensuring appropriate follow-up or referral when needed.
2. Coordinate external training bookings, liaising with suppliers, confirming attendance, and running payment processes in line with procurement policies.
3. Maintain and update learning content, workflows, and reporting using systems like Cornerstone and Ariba.
4. Draft and distribute communications to promote learning opportunities, working with internal comms teams to align messaging.
5. Support continuous improvement by contributing to reporting, scheduling, learner support, and enrolment coordination within the People Hub.

What you’ll bring:

6. Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
7. While experience supporting HR or L&D functions is preferred, a strong passion for employee development is crucial
8. System administration skills in a HR context, including first-line support, user/security management, and governance.
9. Cornerstone platform experience for L&D operations would be great.
10. Ability to act as the first point of contact for L&D queries, resolving or making sure it is referred as needed.
11. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills.
12. High level of accuracy, numeracy, and attention to detail.
13. Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise and take ownership of workload independently
14. Resilient and capable of working independently in dynamic and evolving environments.
15. Decision-making ability and commitment to meeting SLAs.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Location: Newcastle (Hybrid - 3days PW).
