Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher seeking a rewarding role in a supportive environment? Do you thrive in a dynamic setting where you can make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and/or Mental Health (SEMH) needs? This opportunity at a thriving SEN primary school could be perfect for you. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our team. We specialise in supporting pupils with SEN needs, predominantly communication difficulties associated with Autism Spectrum Conditions, offering a high-quality education in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Class sizes are typically between 3-6 pupils, allowing for individualised attention and tailored support.

* Position: SEN Primary School Teacher
* Shift: Full-time
* Salary: £33,075 - £48,719 per year (M1 - UPS2 Fringe). Plus £5,000 bonus For Qualified Teachers
* Hours: 40 hours per week – Term Time only – Start time 8:15am – Finish time 4:45pm

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse learning needs of pupils with SEN needs.
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and emotional well-being.
* Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
* Assessing pupil progress and providing regular feedback.
* Working collaboratively with a team of professionals to support pupils\' individual needs.
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation.


Qualifications

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
* Experience working with pupils aged 6-16 (preferred)
* Proven ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
* Experience working with SEN pupils
* Excellent classroom management skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with a team
* Right to work in the UK is a must
* Driving licence and access to a car is essential
