At a time of exciting developments within Adult Social Care and Salford Care Organisation, we are looking to appoint a full-time permanent Principal Manager for Community Adult Social Care Services.
In Salford, we are at an innovative point of developing and embedding community-led support across our integrated services, maximising strengths-based practice and committing to enabling and maximising choice and control for people.
This is a senior management position with both operational and strategic responsibilities. You will be passionate about leading in a multi-disciplinary way, providing care and support to people closer to home, supporting people to live more fulfilled lives, and improving outcomes for individuals. The role requires demonstrating strong ethical and social work values, embracing a culture of coproduction, learning, and continuous development and improvement. Additionally, a sound understanding of Health and Adult Social Care legislation, along with national and local policies underpinning health and social care in Salford, is essential.
Working alongside other principal managers, Heads of Service, and professional leads, you will help develop and implement strategic priorities, support the service to advance our vision for integrated services, and ensure sound social work principles are embedded within the culture and practice.
