Warehouse Operative
Salary: £25,000 for a 37 hour working week = £12.99/hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Warehouse based
Working Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Holiday: 20 days annual leave + bank holidays + full 2-week Christmas shutdown
Jacaranda is a dynamic, friendly, family run business well known for high quality carpets and rugs, handwoven from natural materials. You would join our busy warehouse as a crucial member or our cutting table team to prepare orders for dispatch throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.
You will be trained to:
· Pick orders
· Use the reach truck
· Operate cutting tables
· Roll, wrap and despatch
· Unload containers
· Sort and store stock
There will be opportunities to help Jacaranda's rug making and sampling departments, making this a busy and varied role.
We are looking for someone who:
· Has a responsible, positive, can do attitude
· Shows initiative and an eye for detail
· Can work in a team and independently
The following would be useful, but are not essential:
· Driving licence
· Experience on Reach Trucks, although training can be provided
Candidates must be comfortable with a physically demanding role which requires regular lifting
