Job Title: Theatre/surgery Lead Veterinary Nurse
Reporting to: Head of nursing services
Location: Runcorn- Cheshire
Salary: Up to £38,000 dependent on experience
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week
About the Role
We're looking for a Lead Nurse to join our team at North West Veterinary specialists and would love to hear from you.
As an experienced veterinary nurse in a Team Leader role, you will be critical to the provision and leadership of high standards of client and patient care, this will include strategic and operational leadership across the practice, direct and indirect line management responsibilities, and a nursing voice contributing to site level conversations.
In this role you will be a key member of the nurse leadership team, working collaboratively with the Head of Nursing Services, Clinical Director, Hospital Director, Team Leaders, Heads of Service, and clinical teams to passionately deliver quality patient care, an unrivalled client experience through teamwork, clear communication and utilisation of your knowledge and skills.
Approximately 80% of your role will be spent undertaking clinical duties, providing support to your clinical teams to deliver an excellent service to patients, to include partaking in the on-call rota as required.
You will ensure that patients are managed effectively from a nursing perspective to support the financial health of the practice.
Requirements:
* RCVS registered for at least 4 years with some leadership experience
* Referral experience beneficial but not essential
* Some hospital experience preferred
