About the Role
We are recruiting for a NMC registered Nursing Associate. As a Band 4 Nursing Associate, you will work closely with service users, their families, friends, and carers to ensure safe, high‑quality, and positive experiences. You’ll achieve this by utilising sound clinical skills and effective risk assessments, adhering to evidence‑based policies, and respecting and empowering individuals throughout the care planning process.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate delegated caseloads.
* Provide full holistic assessments and develop patient‑centred care plans.
* Supervise junior healthcare support workers and trainees.
* Perform delegated clinical activities and provide individualised high‑quality care.
* Participate in 24‑hour internal rotation, covering early, late, night, and long day shifts.
* Support community‑based care, helping patients to leave hospital and live at home.
* Drive to other community hospital sites to provide support as required; confirm you hold a full UK driving licence.
Working Conditions
The inpatient ward focuses on rehabilitation, admitting patients directly from their homes and acute trusts. Flexibility to move to other Community Hospital sites to meet service demands is also required.

Qualifications and Experience
* Experience at a Senior Healthcare Assistant level.
* Foundation degree or equivalent education in nursing or allied health.
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
